The Islamic State Of Syria And Iraq - 1699 Words
ISIS; the Islamic State of Syria and Iraq better known for their mass killings, terrorist attacks, and intense regime. This group was founded in 1999, and was created by people who were former Al Qaeda members. ISIS is a group of terrorists with members positioned all over the world to carry out with mass killings. The members have been radicalized to believe irrational thoughts of killing harmless human beings. The whole world is aware of the issue, and knows that this terrorist group needs to be stopped. ISIS has now taken over a large majority of Syria to expand their power, and more people are being radicalized. In a world full of wonderful people with indescribable potential, there should not have to be in fear of radicalized people taking innocent peopleââ¬â¢s lives. ISIS has many negative effects all over the world. They are killing innocent people and they are causing political tension between countries. Just recently, in November, ISIS carried out multiple attacks in Paris, France. Molins from CNN news said ââ¬Å"In addition to the 129 people killed in Paris, 352 were injured, at least 99 seriously.â⬠(9). These attacks seem to be carried out for no reason, almost at random, leaving people to live in fear constantly thinking ââ¬Å"What will their next move be?â⬠The Paris attacks were only one of the many, similar attacks that ISIS has carried out around the world.
